THE ORIGINAL FORMULA

Why Immufix suits most people.

Immufix was built for normal life: a complete daily formula combining a biologically grown nutrient core, fibre, amino acids, plant compounds and supporting carbohydrate in one measured serving.

The breakthrough that became Immufix.

Before Immufix, there was BREAKTHROUGH. Founder Brian Welsby believed daily nutrition should be built as a system, not as a collection of isolated vitamins added to a powder.

His original idea was to bring together a biologically grown micronutrient core, fibre, amino acids, plant compounds and supporting carbohydrate in one practical daily formula. The name evolved from BREAKTHROUGH to Immufix. The principle did not: nutrition works in context, and a daily formula should be designed as a whole.

That is why Immufix is more than a multivitamin and more than an energy drink. It is a compact nutritional matrix made to be used consistently alongside normal meals.

Nutrition works in context, and a daily formula should be designed as a whole.

The principle behind the formula

Why carbohydrate is deliberately in the recipe.

Carbohydrate is not an accident in Immufix. It is a deliberate part of the formula. Fructose, dextrose and maltodextrin contribute to the formula's energy, taste and mixing properties, helping turn the wider nutritional architecture into a practical daily drink.

Glucose is one of the body's central energy substrates. In normal physiology it is particularly important for the brain, and red blood cells depend on glucose for energy. The body can make glucose when dietary carbohydrate is low, so it would not be accurate to call dietary sugar "essential" for everyone. But that does not make carbohydrate unnecessary or undesirable in a normal balanced diet.

UK healthy-eating guidance continues to recognise carbohydrate-rich foods as an important part of a balanced diet. Immufix is designed for that mainstream context: it makes a measured carbohydrate contribution alongside fibre, amino acids and micronutrients. It is not designed as a ketogenic or very-low-carbohydrate product.

Energy and nutrient utilisation: the accurate explanation.

Immufix does not claim that sugar "unlocks" or is required to absorb every vitamin and mineral. That would be too simplistic. Different nutrients have different absorption and transport pathways. Dietary fat, for example, is important for the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, while mineral absorption can be affected by many features of a meal.

The positive, accurate point is that Immufix pairs an energy source with micronutrients that are involved in normal energy-yielding metabolism. Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, pantothenic acid and biotin each contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. The formula was deliberately designed to provide supporting energy alongside the vitamins, minerals, fibre and amino acids that make up its wider nutritional system.

This is Brian Welsby's original formulation logic: not "sugar plus vitamins", but a daily nutritional matrix in which energy, fibre, amino acids and micronutrients have been designed to sit together in one formula.

Why this suits most people.

Most people are not deliberately following a low-carbohydrate or low-sugar diet. For them, Immufix offers a simple, measured way to add broad daily nutrition to an ordinary eating pattern. It is designed to sit alongside breakfast, after exercise, or at another consistent point in the day, not to replace a balanced diet.

The formula includes a biologically grown nutrient core, a balanced dietary fibre per serving, selected amino acids and broad vitamins and minerals alongside carbohydrate. This combination is what makes Immufix distinctive. The value is not one ingredient in isolation; it is the formula as a whole.

Understanding the carbohydrate line on the label.

The simplest way to read a UK nutrition label is: carbohydrate is the total, and "of which sugars" is one part inside that total. It is not an extra 9.9g added on top of the carbohydrate number. On the Immufix label, the 9.9g "of which sugars" is the amount of simple sugars within one 25g serving; it is principally fructose and dextrose. Maltodextrin still counts towards total carbohydrate, but is not normally included in the "of which sugars" sub-line. Fibre is listed separately.

That label number is not a complete verdict on whether a food is healthy. "Of which sugars" is a measurement, not a health score: it counts sugars wherever they occur in a food and does not, by itself, show the full ingredient picture, portion or nutritional purpose. Read 9.9g in the context of one measured 25g serving, alongside the total carbohydrate figure, the dietary fibre figure, amino acids and micronutrients. As with all foods containing free sugars, it should also fit within a person's overall balanced diet.

The purpose of this formula is not to eliminate carbohydrate. It is to provide a practical, complete daily nutrition formula for people whose normal diet includes carbohydrate. For people deliberately restricting carbohydrate or sugar, the future lower-sugar Immufix option will be the better fit.

Putting the number into everyday context.

A banana is a useful example of why the "of which sugars" figure is not a health score. A medium banana commonly provides around 14g total sugars, more than the 9.9g shown for one 25g serving of Immufix, yet it is widely seen as a healthy choice. That is because people consider the whole food: its naturally occurring sugars sit in an intact fruit, alongside fibre, potassium, vitamin B6 and other nutrients. UK guidance also distinguishes the sugars naturally present in whole fruit from free sugars.

The same common-sense approach applies to Immufix. It is not fruit, and it is not intended to replace fruit or meals. It is a measured daily nutrition formula, designed to complement a balanced diet with a deliberate carbohydrate component, dietary fibre, amino acids, plant compounds and a broad nutrient core. Its nutritional role should be understood from that complete formula, not from one number in isolation.

A 60g handful of grapes provides about 9g total sugars, close to the 9.9g "of which sugars" in one defined 25g serving of Immufix. The foods have different ingredients and nutritional roles; the comparison simply illustrates why grams must always be read with the serving size and the wider food or formula in mind.

For a clear everyday comparison, a 25g portion of milk chocolate commonly provides around 13g sugars, a 30g serving of gummy sweets often provides around 14g, and a standard 330ml can of regular cola can provide around 35g. Brands and serving sizes vary, so current packs should always be checked. Immufix provides 9.9g "of which sugars" in a measured 25g serving. These examples do not make the foods interchangeable: they show why the number of grams must be read with the serving size, the wider nutritional contribution and the balance of the whole diet.

Questions people ask.

Immufix is for people who want a broad, measured daily nutrition formula and are not deliberately following a low-carbohydrate or low-sugar diet.

It is a deliberate part of Brian Welsby's formulation design, contributing energy, taste and powder-delivery properties alongside fibre, amino acids and micronutrients.

No. Carbohydrates include sugars, starches and fibre. Their place in a diet depends on the type, amount, wider diet and individual needs.

It means the sugars inside the total carbohydrate number, not an extra amount added on top. In Immufix, it is 9.9g within a 25g serving, principally fructose and dextrose. Fibre is listed separately.

No single ingredient makes all vitamins and minerals work. Immufix is designed as a nutritional matrix: carbohydrate provides supporting energy while its wider formula supplies fibre, amino acids and micronutrients.

People deliberately following a low-sugar or low-carbohydrate diet, or people advised to monitor carbohydrate closely, may prefer the future lower-sugar Immufix option.
